About Century 21

Founded in 1961 by siblings Sonny Gindi, Ralph Gindi, and Al Gindi, Century 21 is a department store chain that operates in the North Eastern part of the US. Its headquarters is located in New York City and is currently being headed by Al Gindi's son, Raymond Gindi.

The flagship branch is located in Lower Manhattan, NYC which features a 40-floor office on top of the department store. The location had to be evacuated during the Sept 11, 2001, attacks when the twin towers collapsed, which led to the destruction of the site. The store was then renovated and reopened a year after.
